Lots of you have asked me to share my favourite jeans styles and now we're heading into jeans and cosy cardie weather I thought what better time to show you.
I have tried and tested every pair of these jeans, hence why I can vouch for them. There is nothing worse than being recommended jeans that a human has not actually pulled over their muffin top and jumped up and down around the bedroom in trying to get the fly done up, not just me eh ;-)
Topshop Jamie Skinny Jeans
First up are the jeans that feature weekly on my squares and I have more colours and sizes of than I care to admit!
Topshop's Jamie jeans are my all time favourite skinny jeans. They have a lovely high waist, which is always a big hit for me, and have the perfect amount of stretch. They also come in tall and petite ranges. The colour options are updated all year round which is why each season I get drawn into a new colour!
New Look Hallie Skinny Jeans
Another high waisted skinny, I came across these by accident when buying some mom jeans which i'll go onto below. The gorgeous denim wash was what caught my eye first, and then when I tried them on the fit was just lovely. They have a nice stretch to them, slightly more forgiving than the Topshop Jamies, and a bargain price point. New Look go up to a 34" leg which is what I always take which makes them even more appealing so they don't stop above my ankles. The deep denim blue makes them appear much more expensive than they are, and they regularly add different colours and denim wash to the range.
M&S Ivy Skinny Jeans
The best price point out there, these jeans are a great basic for anyone wanting to try skinny jeans but don't want to invest a huge amount. Available in a wide range of colours too for all the seasons, I really like the look and feel of these, they are a slightly lighter denim which makes them super comfy. Short, regular and tall lengths too, they've covered all bases!
Ok so a blog post on jeans wouldn't be complete without a pair of Levi's right, and they are the best jeans in the world...really. These are my all time favourite, the classic 501s. I love the normal length and also this cropped version is heavenly through summer and autumn months. They are straight leg, high rise (but not too high) and BEST of all, they have a button fly... no zips. This gives extra comfort and smoothness over the old muffin top! Obviously as they are Levi's they come in every colour and size imagineable. They are regularly on sale on various sites, but my advice would be that they are worth the investment and you will have them forever, muffin top size dependent!
New Look Tori Mom Jeans
Oh I do love a pair of mom jeans! These are heavenly. I have them with ripped seams and I live in them for the school run, and round the house. They sit really nicely just above my hips and the denim is a nice thickness with a little stretch so but not restricting. They even claim to be hip enhancing! Another range that regularly gets updated with different denim washes and rip styles. My only improvement would be to add a full button fly, if I was being fussy! The acid wash grey version too is dreamy!
