Darcy’s birthday has just passed and every year I like to buy things from small businesses, mainly ones that I’ve been lucky enough to find locally, on instagram or through friends. With Christmas just around the corner I wanted to share some of my favourites before everything sells out!
Dotty Dungarees
I’ve been buying these for a couple of years now and they are such a lovely brand. Alice and Georgie set up in 2013 after sharing a desk for 8 years in their day jobs! They spent their lunch breaks plotting and came up with the idea to create Dotty Dungarees using a combo of their children's names - cute! Now they are rocking the dungaree world for boys and girls aged 0-5. Once you have had some you will be utterly converted!
Knotted by Nana
Those that have followed me for a while will know I have been buying Knotted by Nana creations since Darcy was born. I stumbled across the lovely Wendy and am now obsessed with her bloomers, hair clips and rompers! Nothing is too much trouble if you have any questions or slight changes and the fabrics are to die for - they are so hard to choose from. Wendy has kindly given me a discount code for you guys! Heartfelt Marie
Darcy was given a beautiful handmade felt pumpkin unicorn for her birthday made by this wonderful lady and I just had to share. Marie makes stunning accessories all year round but especially for christmas made of felt! A beautiful independent high street shop, Ollie and Dollie offer their amazing collection online too. Ollie & Dollie specialise in newborn to toddler and school aged children's, clothes and accessories, games, toys, books, gifts and much more. They do the hard work for you and hand pick really the special pieces that you'll want to buy again and again. They offer a fantastic gift wrap service and are now offering these beautiful Christmas Eve boxes for only £19.99!
Dinky Denim
Dinky Denim is a super cool small business specialising in personalising denim. From jackets, dungaree's to dresses, Jess has sooo many options it's incredible. Just when you think you know what you want, you see she has had delivery of new patches. I ordered a set of dungarees for Darcy's birthday, I don't want to admit how long it took me to finalise my design but they are so cool I want my own pair. I think they make a lovely keepsake.

Heidi Rose
Heidi Rose is a beautiful small brand creating premium children's play accessories and clothing. Every product is designed with imagination and inspired by beautiful symbols and prints, you can even personalise them. I was absolutely bowled over with how beautiful the wand and cape was that they sent Darcy for her birthday, the packaging is some that I will even keep for myself and I know Darcy will have these pieces forever. Absolutely gorgeous and well worth a look for an extra special present.
