Shop Small Christmas Gift Edit

It's December...at last!

With less than a month to go, I wanted to share with you some of my favourite small businesses that have some beautiful Christmas gifts to offer this year.

This post could have gone on forever, there are so many fantastic small companies that are working so hard. Shopping small and locally where possible is more important than ever right now. I've included a selection that covers gifts for him, her and baby too.

I also want to mention that some of these companies have gifted me products to try, but with absolutely no obligation to post on here, and I am only featuring things that I would 100% recommend.

Click on the company name or images to take you direct to their sites*, and don't forget to follow them on IG!

I'm kicking off with Cozyland UK. Chloe hand makes these beautiful candles in Cornwall and they are some of the prettiest I have ever seen. One of the best things other than the delicious scents, is that in particular the himylayan rock salt version (pictured) doesn't melt with the wax, so you get to keep the fantastic salts showing on the candle all the way through! They are all made with eco-friendly soy wax, and she has now added wax melts to the range. I truly love these and think they make a gorgeous gift, I have bought them for George's teachers this year!

Another awesome candle company I just had to feature, Kool Kandles have recently launched locally to me and I am so impressed with their products. Set up by Grant, Kool Kandles was a lockdown baby! After A LOT of candle burning and testing, the Kool range was launched, full of unique artisanal fragrances, followed shortly by the Klassic range which focuses on uplifting wellness scents. The wax melts are super cool too.

Prices start from £4

The absolutely lovely Rachel started up this company after our first lockdown. She is predominantly a wedding dress maker but for obvious reasons found herself less busy this year, and decided to start making these scrunchies as a bit of fun, which has turned into a successful little business. The fabrics are truly beautiful and the silk is so soft on your hair. I have had mine for a few weeks now and can say I am 100% converted! Head over to her shop, choose your size - mini, midi or maxi and then spend the next half an hour trying to choose a colour!!

The Bowtique is a cute little company making hand made children's hair bows. They have a great present idea currently on offer which little ones will love to open, a Christmas cracker filled with hair bows. They have every colour and fabric option imaginable! These guys are my go to for Darcy's accessories, the mini versions are just so sweet.

Prices start from £1.50 and crackers start from £10

Linds and Kate run this lovely small business and have some of the quirkiest products. Their ranges include canvas bags with smileys on to brighten your day, as well as real leather totes. Their jewellery lines are beautiful, I could wear every bracelet they sell, as well as statement earrings. Check them out, I guarantee you'll be spoilt for choice!

So we all love the tie dye uniform from 2020 lockdown, and this little company have taken it to a whole new level. They stock some of the most gorgeous pieces, it is impossible to have a favourite colourway! Based in North London, everything is hand dyed so is completely unique and they make everything from hair scrunchies, face masks and socks, to hoodies and trackies. They also re-work vintage pieces to give them a new life (cute!) and they can take custom orders. I seriously recommend a mooch, you will be mesmerised, you will want them all for yourself let alone presents!

These welly racks are such a quirky present idea. Simeon and Rachel set up Warwickshire Welly Rack last year after making one for themselves and their friends commenting on how brilliant it was. Then came lockdown, and Warwickshire Welly Rack Co. was born! They've had so much interest that they plan to expand with new products.

Available in 5 colours, they are all handmade to order and you can choose from a 2, 3, 4 or 6 person option. These are super useful and look so lovely in your hallway or doorstep.

Prices start from £25

It wouldn't be Christmas without mentioning something yummy and food related! Another local company to me, Saleha at Gimme Foods has launched these incredible S'mores packets which everyone in my family loves! If you have never tried them then I seriously recommend you do. They're so much fun to do with the kids, home or away, and i'm going to be popping a set in their Christmas Eve boxes this year. Coming soon is the Banoffee version... OMG

£7.99

This is a great present for all cheese lovers, and if my husband is anything to go by, this tub of cheese will be devoured in a matter of hours!! My lovely American friend Jane set up Cheeky Cheese 2 years ago and it has gone from strength to strength. If you have never tried it, pimento cheese is so addictive and absolutely delicious. Put it on your burger, jacket potato, spaghetti bolognaise and my favourite on fancy crackers, it is truly delicious. Order online!

£6

Let me know what you think and keep sharing the love for small businesses!

Love,

A x
