October Beauty Edit

Updated: Oct 13, 2020

I wanted to share with you my latest beauty edit as i've found so many exciting and brilliant new products lately. This list could have gone on but i've chosen my five faves this week which I know you will love too.

Beauty Pie Japanfusion Cleanser

I just HAVE to share this with you. I bought this as part of my last Beauty Pie haul which I shared with you and it is hands down THE best cleanser I have ever used.

I have tried all of them out there. I wear Benefit Bad Gal mascara which I swear moulds like concrete to your lashes and just hates being removed without leaving you with panda eyes. Clinique, Liz Earle, Elemis, Boots, own brands, you name it I’ve tried it. So I thought why not try one more?! I teamed this cleanser up with the face flannels that Beauty Pie recommended (check out my stories highlights on IG) and the combination of the 2 is just heavenly. The cleanser is really light but still removes all traces of makeup and a hot flannel on top is like a facial! Highly recommended and such a bargain price.

*Update: This cleanser is so good that as I have published this it is currently out of stock but sign up to get alerted when it's back in... don't hate me!

Beauty Pie Super Retinol Hand Cream

Another Beauty Pie winner. This hand cream has really impressed me. I am not a big fan of hand cream at all and hardly ever use it as I find it sticky and seems to take forever to absorb on my clammy hands :-) However I decided to try this on a whim with my last Beauty Pie order and I am so impressed. I put it on every night and before I have gone to sleep it has absorbed into may hands. I've been using it for over a month now and my hands do definitely seem softer, and with the added benefit of Retinol, i'm hoping they look super younger in the weeks to come!!

Chanel Les Beiges Bronzing Cream

This has featured in every make up artist's kit bag this summer, I have seen it everywhere but was skeptical as I've not used a cream bronzer before. However, after hearing a friend rave about it I had to give it a go. It is utterly delicious! It smells of actual heaven and the colour that comes off is shimmery and so light, but enough to give you a sun kissed glow, which lets face it is what we all need this year. I'm sat here sniffing the pot as we speak! It is pricey, but it is Chanel, and i've been using it for 2 months now and I can barely see a dent in it yet. I think it's going to be a winter essential for me this year too.

£42

Herbivore Jade Roller

I was actually sent a jade roller in one of my beauty subscription boxes and I absolutely love it! Don't get me wrong I was as skeptical as the next person when people were raving about these weird green gemstones on sticks, but after using one I can see why people love them so much. It is so cooling and therapeutic. It is claimed to help improve blood flow in your face, which then increases your natural collagen productions, as well as detox there skin by promoting lymphatic drainage... pretty cool for a green stone right?! I now use it as part of my morning routine and when I roll it over my face it feels like pure heaven! It comes with 2 different sized rollers so you can get right under your eyes. The cooling effect combats puffy eyes and some studies have also suggested it can help people that suffer with rosacea on their skin. If you have irritable or red skin I would definitely recommend giving this a try. It feels that good i've had to hide it from my hubby!!

£26

Ancient & Brave True Collagen Powder

I've featured this on my stories before and always get lots of questions from you. I've been using collagen powder for 2 and a half years now and have been really impressed with the results. My main reason for trying it was clearly for the known benefits it has on your skin and complexion, but after doing some research I also learnt it has a while host of other benefits including helping joint pain, healthy hair and nails and even a healthy brain... worth a shot eh?! I've always been pretty lucky with my skin not to get regular breakouts but it has always been dry. This powder definitely helps it feel plumper and let's just hope it's attacking those lines and wrinkles for me! I did loads of research and decided on this version that had been recommended by some healthcare professionals but also contained a decent amount of ingredients. Be careful not to get fobbed off with supplements seeming like good value when they hardly contain anything! I add this to my morning coffee, you can even buy individual sachets to take on the move with you to add to your drinks, or mix into a smoothie. One 200g jar contains around 40 servings, and you can even get on Ocado.
