My Style Edit - 24th August

I’m still not quite ready to accept that Autumn is nearly here! Although Im looking forward to some chunky knits and digging my mac out, these last few weeks of summer are keeping us on our feet weather wise! We are enjoying some family time away, but couldn't resist sharing some finds this week.

Whilst I think most of us don’t want to be buying any new summer pieces now, the shops are only just starting to slowly launch their Autumn collections. I’ll be finishing my blog on the key trends we will see this A/W which I’ll share later this week, but for today I thought I’d show you some pieces that have caught my eye this week, which are great transitional bits that will help us make the move to the colder months heading our way.

And Other Stories Leopard Print Cardigan

As you know I already have one of these which is nearly identical and I wear it tonnes. It actually goes with so much, even though sometimes leopard print can feel slightly restrictive, the casual nature of this cardie means you can mix it with bright colours and other prints. And Other Stories do the best knitwear and this is no exception. It has beautiful puffed sleeves which we have seen everywhere this year, and a wool blend makes it super snuggly.

Zara Polka Dot Blouse

I came across this by accident after missing out on a very similar Topshop version last week. This is so pretty and I love the ribbon detail to the collar. Dress it up with black cropped trousers or culottes which are making another appearance this year, or jeans for a casual vibe.

H&M Leopard Raincoat

I hate how boring sensible raincoats are. This one though.... does it get more glam?! Perfect for the autumn rain heading our way and with us at the mo. It’s lightweight and super long which makes it a very practical design. It even comes with a little storage bag....cute. I linked a houndstooth version a few weeks back which sold out immediately, I imagine this will do the same!

Monki Maxi Dress

Monki have some lovely new pieces appearing at the moment. This dress is perfect for the current weather situation! I love the fabric, 100% cotton and the design means it can be dressed up or down for any occasion but also layered up for when the weather changes and worn with boots like the pic rather than sandals.

And Other Stories Heart Button Cardigan

They’re back again this year!! The iconic cardie of last winter is back again and there are some super cute designs this time around. This one is my fave with the heart buttons, it comes in red too, they also do a black version with bee buttons <3

They are unbelievably soft, alpaca blend wool and are definitely an investment piece for your winter wardrobe

£69

Fantasie Swimming Costume

Lastly after the huge amount of messages after I featured on my stories, this swimsuit has to be on my faves this week. The brand is Fantasied which I bought from Figleaves. I have brought it away with me and I can honestly say it's the nicest swimsuit i've ever worn. It fits my bust perfectly (which is not an easy job!) and makes me feel so elegant. The bardot shoulders are so flattering.
