Knitwear

It's taken me a while to pull this edit together for you, I know so many of you have been waiting patiently, so thank you! But I wanted to test some of these pieces, as knitwear can be so hit and miss. With most of us shopping online, you can get a lot of things turn up that look and feel nothing like you expected.

Also, I wanted to pull some key pieces that you can keep in your wardrobes for years to come. You know my thoughts on fast fashion already and buying for the sake of it, and I think it hits home in the winter months with new coats and jumpers galore that I wanted to share with you timeless and quality pieces. Places like H&M have gone literally overboard with their ranges this Winter, it just feels unnecessary to own sweaters, jumpers, cardigans and turtle necks in every colour way imaginable.

And Other Stories Mock Neck Sweater

I wanted to start off with the mother of all basics. And Other Stories smash their knitwear collections year after year, and this jumper comes back every time. It is super soft and the shape so flattering. The high neckline is really feminine without being a full turtle neck. It's not too heavy either so will see you right through Autumn into Winter. This is one of my faves, the colour range is to die for, once you have one you will want the entire collection.

£35

M&S Fair Isle Knit

This featured on my style edit last week and I just had to include it here. This Fair isle knit is a wardrobe staple for winter and Christmas. I love this style as it has a subtle festive feel without being a full on Christmas jumper. I bought the navy blue version last year and it's something that will stay in my wardrobe for years to come. The two colourways this season are gorgeous oatmeal shades and are literally impossible to choose from. Grab one while they're still available you won't regret it.

£29.50

Zara Embroidered Sweater

How could I not include this gorgeous jumper?! It's looks like something I would buy for Darcy and I fell in love as soon as I saw it. It is oversized and so pretty. Perfect to wear through to Spring I love the understated detailing and pastel colours. I will style this with jeans, black or blue, skinny or mom it's so versatile.

£49.99

Portman Star Longline Cardigan

Anyone that has been on my instagram will see how much love I have for this cardigan, so much so I have it in both colours - black and oatmeal. It comes in one size, which fits all, and I love wearing it with my faux leather leggings. It goes out of stock every time it comes back in and I can see why. You can currently pre-order for end of Nov delivery, get it on your Christmas list! Portman London is a new small brand to me but so far I have been really impressed with their quality and service.

£45

Mango Houndstooth Jumper

Another favourite I have lived in this Autumn is this houndstooth number from Mango. It is super soft and oversized for the perfect relaxed feel. I really like that it can be dressed up or down, I even wear mine with joggers. Super stylish and a classic print, this is another investment piece to keep in your winter wardrobe for years to come.

£49.99

John Lewis Cashmere Crew Neck Sweater

No wardrobe is complete without a cashmere jumper. This basic is from John Lewis and I have always gone to them for my cashmere jumpers. I don't have many, just two, you don't need more than that. They are worth the pricetag for the super soft silky quality and will l;ast forever. Lots of companies have started to offer recycled cashmere this year which is such a great idea.

£79.99

H&M Cable Knit Jumper

The classic cable knit comes back year after year. I've looked at a few this season and this H&M one is great value for money and has a slightly heavy feel which makes it seem more expensive than it is. If you're new to knitwear this is the perfect starter for your wardrobe, and those long winter walks!

£24.99

Mango Chevron Turtle Neck

This is a more structured knit from Mango, and I just love the pattern. It's the perfect Sunday roast in the pub jumper, well when we're allowed anyway!

Happy knitwear shopping, please tag me in anything you buy, I love to see your purchases!

Stay safe,

A x
